About Osmose

Music discovery that actually listens

Osmose is a music discovery tool that finds music by sound, not by algorithm. Instead of relying on listening history, popularity metrics, or social signals, Osmose analyzes the actual audio of every track to find what genuinely sounds similar.

How it works

Every track in our catalog is processed through a neural network that generates an audio embedding — a mathematical fingerprint of how the music actually sounds. When you search, Osmose compares these embeddings to find tracks with genuine sonic similarity, regardless of genre tags, artist fame, or release date.

This means an obscure Bandcamp release and a platinum Spotify hit are treated with equal weight. What matters is the sound, not the stats.

Cross-platform search

Osmose searches across Spotify, Bandcamp, YouTube, and SoundCloud simultaneously. Music lives everywhere — your discovery tool should too. Results link directly to the platform where each track lives, so you can listen wherever you prefer.

No popularity bias

Underground and mainstream tracks are treated equally. Osmose does not boost results based on play counts, follower numbers, or editorial playlists. If it sounds right, it surfaces — whether it has 50 plays or 50 million.

The catalog

Osmose indexes over 18 million tracks with audio embeddings, and the catalog is growing continuously. Every track is analyzed by the same neural network, ensuring consistent and comparable results across the entire collection.

Built by the DecksBridge team

Osmose is built by the team behind DecksBridge, a DJ set preparation workspace. Both products share the same AI model, the same audio embedding infrastructure, and the same catalog. DecksBridge is built for DJs preparing sets. Osmose is built for anyone who wants to discover music by how it sounds.
